Hi Friends:
I hope that your January started the year out on a good note. It has been exactly 1 month since my last surgery. I am better now and will begin walking next week. That is very exciting.

I saw my neurosurgeon on Tuesday. He is hopeful that the disc at L4/L5 will not protrude again, but it is very possible that it will if the cause is movement and instability in the vertebrae.

I am not angry or resentful like I was when I first had the third surgery. Instead, I pray that the Lord will give me the strength I need to finish raising all of my girls. I am thankful for each day. My husband and I try to do things together, long weekends, concerts, etc. now, while I am able to move without pain.

I know there is a heaven and I live for that day. It is my greatest prayer to have all of my family standing around the beautiful lake that is described in Revelation singing praises to the Lord. He is the source of my strength, and I hope He is the source of your strength too.

Have a wonderful day!
Kim
